Job Objective
Oversee the instrumentation systems and processes in the Cement Mill to ensure optimal functionality and efficiency.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure the effective management and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems in the Cement Mill.
- Coordinate the calibration and validation of instruments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts during equipment malfunctions and provide solutions to instrumentation issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes, enhancing overall efficiency.
- Implement best practices for instrumentation maintenance and operations.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for instrumentation systems and ensure it is up to date.
- Monitor process parameters to ensure compliance with production quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations in all instrumentation operations.
- Train and mentor junior staff on instrumentation best practices and safety measures.
Requirements
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in automation or instrumentation will be an added advantage.
Work Experience
- Minimum of eight years (8) years relevant work experience in instrumentation, preferably in the cement or manufacturing industry.
