Job Summary
The Secretary to the Plant Director at Okpella Cement Plc will deliver extensive administrative assistance to facilitate the efficient functioning of daily operations and boost productivity. This position demands outstanding organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and strong communication skills at all hierarchies within the organization. The Secretary will be responsible for managing correspondence, coordinating meetings, and overseeing critical documentation while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Plant Director.
- Manage and organize schedules, including arranging meetings, conferences, and travel plans.
- Draft, review, and edit correspondence and reports to communicate information accurately.
- Maintain document control and ensure all pertinent records are filed correctly.
- Coordinate office activities and functions to minimize delays in operations.
- Serve as a liaison between the Plant Director and other staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for management meetings.
- Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, ordering as necessary.
- Support the Plant Director in project coordination and follow-up tasks.
Requirements
Education and Qualification Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in English Language, Secretarial Duties, Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a secretarial or administrative role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Skills and Competencies
