Under general supervision, performs secretarial, clerical, and a variety of general office functions, which include scheduling of appointments, verifying patient information, maintaining patient files, filing, processing outpatient charges, and making copies of pertinent documents. Extensive time spent on phone to coordinate scheduling for outpatients, verifying referrals, and obtaining necessary information from medical professional offices.
