SDET II

Responsibilities:

• Performance Testing:
• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of performance testing frameworks .
• Conduct performance tests to evaluate the system's response under various load conditions.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to analyze test results, identify potential performance issues, and suggest improvements.


• Release Management:
• Support the release process by helping to ensure that deployments are smooth and timely.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of automated release processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to verify that performance benchmarks are met before release.
• Monitor system performance post-deployment and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise.


• Automation & Tooling:
• Work on improving existing testing and release processes, focusing on automation and efficiency.
• Enhance and maintain automation frameworks to support performance testing and release management tasks.
• Integrate performance testing tools with monitoring systems to provide valuable insights into system performance.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance, with some exposure to performance testing.
• Basic proficiency in Locust or similar Python-based performance testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with release management processes and practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.


• Technical Skills:
• Solid programming skills preferably in Python.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) is preferred.
• Understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) and their role in performance testing.


• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of performance testing and release management.
