School Counselor

Catapult Learning is seeking a PA Certified School Counselor to work at a non-public Yeshiva elementary for the 2024-25 school year. This is a part-time position 1 day/week.
Compensation is $34-37/hr.
The Family Connections Liaison will assess and counsel students individually or in small groups as they overcome whatever challenges they might face and alleviate the external barriers interfering with their ability to succeed. Candidates must possess strong knowledge in evidence-based practices, demonstrate exceptional interpersonal communication skills, be computer literate, independent, flexible, and people oriented.
How you’ll be there for students:
Be their advocate, difference maker, and mentor.
- Provide individual and group counseling, group guidance lessons, and consultations.
- Consult and collaborate with both school personnel and parents/guardians to develop specific interventions on behalf of eligible students.
- Refer students and families to appropriate community agencies.
- Provide parent involvement workshops.
- Complete documentation in compliance with the School District and Catapult Learning requirements.
- Other duties may be assigned.

What we’ll need from you:
The positive, enthusiastic candidate will have these qualifications.
- Active PA School Counseling Certification required by contract
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Catapult Learning employees are subject to state and local licensure and pre-employment screening.
- Must be proficient with virtual platforms, i.e. Zoom
