Scheduling Coordinator – Sheeting & Collating

 

The Scheduling Coordinator-Sheeting & Collating is to effectively develop daily schedules across all sheeting and collating assets.  Monitor compliance to released schedules through daily reporting and oversight.  Interface with Supply Chain, Assembly, and Master Data teams to optimize schedule adherence and asset utilization while minimizing time to schedule. Ensure the following objectives are planned for and executed too:

  - Pattern Rack Health target is 90%+ 

- Schedule compliance target is 90%+

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Oversee/develop proper schedule procedures in the Sheeting/Collating department
  • Monitor overall compliance to published schedules.  
  • Liaise with scheduling team and assure implementation of needful priorities in Sheeting/Collating.
  • Monitor machine utilization and capacity (sheets, changeouts, labor) and report out.  Laisse with department Supervisor.
  • Escalate bottlenecks to management while working to resolve
  • Utilize 10.7, R12, and Access DBs to publish daily reporting and achieve Patt Rack health goals. 
  • Set Patt Rack replenishment strategy in the form of MOQs (optimizing changeouts), machine cycles, and routing.  Monitor for proper volume levels and optimize Patt Rack product mix to service our sales volume. 

 

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Advanced knowledge of computer operations and programs, specifically Oracle, ODBC, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of creating and maintaining production schedules.
  • Understanding of FIFO (First In First Out).
  • Overall knowledge of the Scheduling and Assembly processes. 
  • Ability to perform multiple duties with minimum supervision.
  • Ability to communicate well in oral and written form at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of the safety standards applicable to the production areas and other pertinent rules and

regulations governing work standards.

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

 

EDUCATION

High School Graduate or GED

 

EXPERIENCE

1+ years  -  Oracle and Excel

2+ years – Scheduling Experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Sitting in the same location of standing/walking; required to stoop, climb or lift light material (10-20lbs) or equipment.
