Scheduling Coordinator - Hospice

We're looking for a Remote Full Time Scheduling Coordinator in the Murrieta area to support our Hospice teams. Manages and performs a variety of administrative duties in the office, including, but not limited to scheduling clinicians to meet client needs, monitor productivity, as well as tracking frequency and durations of patients. Train and maintain consistency with centralized scheduling model. The compensation is in the range of $21-28/hr. Responsibilities:
  • Obtains schedules (electronically)  from clinicians on a weekly basis
  • Enters patient frequency and duration data into the  data base
  • Coordinates employees schedules to maintain proper productivity
  • Coordinates caseloads with clinicians to determine which patients can be seen by LVNs or PTAs
  • Speaks with patients regarding when employees  are scheduled for visits
  • Data enters frequencies and durations into to data base for visit tracking
  • Tracks all lab results and faxes information to clinicians as well as MD and infusion companies
  • Contacts staff regarding new patients on their schedules  
  • Faxes/emails all patient information to the clinician
  • Convert  all admits/discharges
  • Update the agency census weekly to ensure all patients are on clinical schedules.  
  • Coordinates and emails/faxes all weekend on‐call information to the administrator on‐call and
  • the clinicians who are scheduled to perform patient care.
  • Set and coordinate schedules of SCs to ensure consistent weekend coverage and productivity.  
  • Preferences
  • High school graduate with minimum of two years of progressive business experience.
  • Proficient in word processing, desktop publishing and spreadsheet software.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the appropriate skills for communicating with individuals of all ages, especially the geriatric population.
