Scheduling and Planning Analyst (m/f/x)

As a Scheduling Analyst you are responsible for creating and managing employee schedules (monthly and daily) to ensure optimal coverage and efficiency. This role involves balancing business needs with employee preferences, coordinating with various departments, and adjusting schedules in response to changes. Additionally, as a Scheduling Analyst you provide support to real-time analysts and covers absences and holidays. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage employee schedules to meet business needs.
  • Balance staffing requirements with employee availability and preferences.
  • Coordinate with different departments (both in-house and external) to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Adjust schedules in response to real-time changes and unforeseen events.
  • Monitor and analyze scheduling efficiency, making improvements as needed.
  • Provide support to real-time analysts, including covering shifts (08:00-20:00), if required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in scheduling, workforce management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record in creating and managing schedules.
  • Familiarity with German labor laws applicable to the contact center industry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of scheduling tools and software (at least one).
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and other Google Suite tools.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Understanding of capacity and forecasting processes is a plus.
  • Knowledge of performance metrics and KPIs in a customer service environment.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Enthusiastic team player

The role is based in Berlin or Munich and operates in a hybrid mode.
