The Supply Area Controller supports the function Finance Performance and Operations in the operational closing work with accruals, re bookings, cost follow up and follow up of financial KPI’s.
- Leads performance management agenda and enables high performance culture.
- Leads SA Planning & Execution Process including development of Portfolio and Project Management.
Assignment: Job specific key tasks and responsibilities:
Financial Controlling:
- Secure journals & allocations during the period close & perform variance analysis, ensuring correct actuals.
- Secure strong internal controls and ensure the compliance of operations, e.g., segregation of duties, process evaluations and document management.
- Ensure assessment of actual financial performance and report on findings.
- Support the financial planning and forecasting process from an operational finance perspective, securing correct actuals, and insights to optimize financial planning and forecasting accuracy.
- Support Business Navigation with financial data and insights to strategic decisions, visualizing the impact on the bottom-line to maximize value.
Business Controlling:
- Validate and consolidate forecasts and resource planning on Legal units level.
- Validate Goal setting, from a financial and business consequence point of view.
- Secure relevant performance reporting and explanation of any deviations (functional and legal perspective) and make insights actionable for management.
- Proactively identify and analyze cost drivers to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization = Financial analysis.
FP&O specific
Business Controlling
- Support Supply Area business planning and execution process (PEP) and follow up on PEP project deliverables and secure adherence to Supply Area Project Management process.
Risk and Compliance
- Execute Risk and Compliance activities on Company and Area level, including Compliance Self-Assessment, with action plan follow up, risk register and mitigation actions, key controls and local Sanction Partly Screening.
Other
- Continuously work with improvements and actively participate in applicable Finance Performance & Operations Networks.
- Provide local market insights based on Supply Area Need
Your profile:
- Postgraduate in Commerce and or MBA Finance. And or University degree within Finance and Controlling.
- Core experience of 5 to 8 years.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 package, especially Power BI or other business intelligence tool.
- Deep understanding of Supply Areas Assignment and structure.
- Good knowledge of business intelligence tools in general.
- Good knowledge of project and portfolio management methodology and tools.
- Good knowledge of market specific conditions and macroeconomics trends.
- Capability to perform key business analysis, risk assessment, scenario planning.
- Capability to understand and act in a complex environment, translate a strategy into action and achieve results.
- Ability to initiate and lead the change towards new ways of working and applications in a big organization, great leadership.
- Ability to build trustful relations with different stakeholders in remote locations; excellent communicator.
- Creative and engaging approach to business surrounding.
