SAP S/4Hana & SuccessFactors Project Manager (Fixed-term: 15 months)

You will be reporting to the steering committee of the project composed of the COO, CFO, Head of Corporate IT, Head of Strategy, Head of HR and you will be working closely with Subject Matter Experts and Stream Leads in all Corporate Functions of Avaloq including Finance, HR and Corporate IT, as well as the implementation partner for the project.

We are seeking an experienced SAP/SuccessFactors Implementation Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our critical SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors project. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional streams, manage project timelines and budgets, and ensure successful adoption of SAP and SuccessFactors solutions. This role requires strong leadership, communication, project and stakeholder management skills, along with a solid understanding of Finance and HR processes and S/4HANA and SuccessFactors modules.

Your key tasks:

- Lead end-to-end implementation project of SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors for the entire company, from project initiation to post-implementation support and be the internal counterpart of the Project Manager on the implementation partner-side. 

- Validate and ensure adoption of project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders (Steering Committee, implementation partner, etc.), ensuring alignment with business goals and requirements.

- Validate detailed project plan, including timelines, internal resource allocation, and budget tracking, and monitor progress against key milestones.

- Coordinate internal cross-functional team, including subject matter experts, to execute project tasks and deliverables.

- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, proactively addressing challenges to ensure project success.

- Manage project budget, track expenses, and provide regular updates to Steering Committee on budgetary status and variances.

- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure alignment and timely resolution of issues.

- Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare progress reports, and escalate issues as needed to senior management.

- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, standardization, and continuous improvement.

- Ensure compliance with project management best practices, company policies, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.

- Collaborate with business leaders and end-users to gather feedback and identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

- Provide training and support to end-users during and after the implementation phase, ensuring a smooth transition to the new systems.

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.

- 5+ years of experience in project management in leading functions, with a proven track record of successfully managing SAP/SuccessFactors implementation projects.

- Solid understanding of Finance, Procurement and HR processes and best practices, with hands-on experience implementing SAP and SuccessFactors modules. Good understanding of SAP functional aspects.

- Experience in process design and adoption of SAP standards and best practices.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.

- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results. Hands-on mentality with the ability of being operational and strategic at the same time.

- Experience working with global teams and managing projects across multiple functions, regions and time zones is a plus.

- Fluent in English and able to work on-site in Zurich
