Reporting to the Solution Architecture Manager, the SAP Presales Solution Architect is playing a strategic role at Talan. You are a trusted advisor guiding the sales team on SAP solutions. You build meaningful relationships with clients, collaborate on winning sales strategies, and play a key role in scoping, solution design, planning, and defining roadmaps for new opportunities.
To have success in this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales teams to drive new customer acquisition and business growth within the logistics sector. Your in-depth knowledge of SAP solutions, particularly in logistics and supply chain management, will be crucial for ensuring our customers' success and expanding Talan Americas' SAP practice.

Presales Deal Support: Qualify opportunities, assess, and validate customer needs, and align technology roadmaps with SAP solutions throughout the sales cycle.

SAP Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of the SAP portfolio, including S/4HANA, Cloud solutions, and RISE, to establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients.

Customer-Centric Solutions: Lead discovery meetings, understand business requirements, and propose tailored SAP solutions to address customer goals and pain points.

Functional & Technical SAP Expertise: Apply your strong background in SAP Logistics and Supply Chain modules, including S/4HANA transformations and Cloud solutions, to analyze business processes and determine optimal solution components.

Compelling Presentations: Develop and deliver impactful presentations and tailored demonstrations that showcase the value of SAP solutions.

Opportunity Management: Manage the full sales cycle for SAP solutions, prepare proposals, coordinate with stakeholders, and secure approvals, ensuring successful deal closures.

Sales Strategy & Growth: Contribute to sales strategies and identify new opportunities for SAP solutions in existing and potential accounts.

Continuous Learning & Development: Stay current on SAP technologies, solutions, and certifications while actively mentoring and sharing knowledge.

Proven SAP Expertise:
- 12+ years as an SAP ERP Functional Consultant OR 5+ years in an SAP ERP Presales role.
- Deep knowledge of S/4HANA, Cloud solutions, RISE, and Logistics/Supply Chain modules.
- Demonstrated success in deal support, needs analysis, and building client relationships.

Strong Presentation & Client Engagement:
- Exceptional presentation and product demonstration skills, clearly communicating complex concepts.

Results-Oriented Sales Focus:
- Experience in managing sales cycles, preparing proposals, and identifying new opportunities.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and collaborate effectively with sales teams.

Technical Excellence & Adaptability:
- Up-to-date knowledge of SAP technologies, products, and solutions.
- SAP certifications are a plus.

Communication:
- Good oral and written communication skills in English (French is a plus) to communicate with clients located across Canada.
