As a Marketing Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the VP of Marketing to develop our marketing strategies and initiatives, particularly to help gain net new SAP customers. With a solid background in SAP and a proven track record in B2B marketing, you will be instrumental in driving our marketing initiatives forward, ensuring alignment with our business and marketing objectives, and fostering strong relationships between our head office in Montreal and our sales teams in Chicago. 

Role and responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Initiatives: Align marketing strategies with company goals and utilize SAP market insights for targeted B2B campaigns, collaborating closely with SAP sales team to maintain strategic alignment and priority consideration.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication and alignment of marketing strategies between the VP of Marketing in Montreal and sales teams in Chicago, while ensuring synergy and coherence across internal departments to support marketing efforts effectively.
  • Sales Enablement and Support: Collaborate with Chicago sales teams by providing essential marketing support and materials, while also analyzing market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to optimize lead generation and enhance demand generation programs.
  • Content Development and Management: Manage marketing content and distribution to resonate with B2B audience, maintaining brand standards, and serving as the main liaison with US agencies for synchronized branding efforts.
  • Campaign Analysis and Reporting: Continuously monitor and evaluate marketing campaign performance, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize future strategies, while staying abreast of SAP market trends to ensure ongoing innovation and effectiveness.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing role, with a strong preference for candidates with experience in the SAP ERP ecosystem. 

  • Previous experience at SAP or extensive knowledge of SAP products and services and solid understanding of B2B marketing strategies and their practical application. 

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively coordinating between teams and stakeholders. 

  • Strong analytical abilities with a knack for interpreting complex data and translating insights into action. 

  • Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment. 

  • Willingness to travel as needed to foster team alignment and drive project success.
