- Supports the Delivery Manager in delivery of engagement / project, in specific area of competency.
- Raises issues with manager as identified in area of focus that may affect the quality of delivery or timelines of the engagement
- Identifies opportunities for follow-on work and works with management to win the business
- Assists in development of client presentations / discussion documentation, ongoing business process improvements
- Actively builds business relationships that generate leads.
- Gathers information to understand broader offerings of Deloitte and seeks opportunities for cross-selling
- Raises solutions to address issues in area of expertise that may enhance / renew service offerings to client
Client Impact: External / Internal
- Communicates regularly with both Delivery Manager and client to meet deliverables expectations in specific area of expertise
- Develops productive working relationships with client staff
Operational Effectiveness
- Proactively identifies client needs and problems on technical issues that arise and propose resolutions to address these
- Manages risk in area of engagement in alignment with Deloitte policies
- Consistently reviews and analyses accuracy and quality of own deliverables
- Maintains clear communication channels with engagement team members on work status
Development/Growth of Team
- Shares expertise and knowledge with team members and assists where possible to ensure quality and timeous delivery of work
- Mentors’ junior members of the team
- Maintains own development and knowledge in specialised area
Budgets / Profitability
- Maintains quality and timeous delivery as per SLA
Minimum Qualification and Experience
- BCOM Finance degree
- SAP S4/Hana Certification
- 7+ years of working experience in SAP Finance (designed and implemented at least 3 projects)
- Experience with General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Asset Accounting, Banking and Controlling with Product Costing and Profitability Analysis.
- VIM and Treasury are a bonus.
Technical Competencies
- Can independently investigate and troubleshoot functional issues with a strong understanding of the technical requirements.
- Has end-to-end project and support experience: Implementation, maintenance, support, and documentation.
- Interact with clients to understand the business requirements to determine blueprints, configuration, testing, migration, support, and continuous enhancements.
- At least 3 full life cycle implementations of the FICO module.
- Ability to optimise and simplify FICO processes.
- Facilitates easy collaboration with stakeholders within the FICO space
- Experience with MM and SD integration.
- Experience of functional designs.
- Must have experience operating in a client facing or similar role.
- Experience in drafting and presenting documentation to clients.
