Role Summary
As the SAP Applications QA Engineer, you will work with a high-performance collaborative team of Developers andTesters, ensuring that the approach and delivery of all aspects of the team’s work aligns with departmental policies.
You will be a hands-on part of the team for the testing of the company’s IT applications such as Salesforce and SAP; to test Integration layer processes within Mulesoft and connected applications.
You will also ensure that the quality of all deliveries made by the team meets the defined criteria and engage with groups across the business to enable their team to effectively deliver products and updates that meet customer requirements and expectations.
What You Will Do
- Suggest process improvement plans and execute them to departmental standards
- Collaborate with the Scrum Master to resolve any problems and exceptions that need to be addressed promptly
- Engage with BA & TAs to clarify business requirements and offer recommendations for improvements
- Prioritize and manage own time to deliver against priorities agreed with the Scrum Master in line with agreed project timescales
- Responsible for designing and executing the test plan and strategy
- Work with Team Lead/QA Lead to provide support and recommendations regarding testing approach for work being delivered
- Peer review test cases and guide other members when necessary
- Proactively contribute to test execution and monitor it for reporting within the team
- Work towards the complete delivery for a small project(s) with minimal support
- Hands-on involvement in testing
- Ensure quality of releases through Test-Driven Development and test coverage reviews
- Lead Root Cause Analysis investigations. Identify trends and areas of weakness, and drive corrective actions
- Contribute to and deliver against the wider team priority list
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar
- 2+ years of solid experience in a QA team
- Effective communication skills with colleagues and business stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent technical problem-solving skills
- Effective in performing QA testing
- Knowledge in Security Practices
- Ability to manage and resolve conflicts
- Amenable to work on EMEA Shift (4PM-1AM)
Desirable:
- 1+ years’ experience in test automation technologies and processes
- Experience working with SAP, Zuora Billing, Zuora Revenue and Salesforce
- Exposure to AWS technologies
- Basic knowledge on JIRA, or any ticket/issue management tools
- Experience in conducting automated tests using C#.Net, Java, Selenium, Provar or Worksoft
