Role:-SAP ABAP Developer
Main Responsibilities/Tasks:
· Responsible for the assigned process/track and ensure systems users are able to perform their operations with the system.
· Timely delivery of assigned work according to the deadlines agreed. Ensure the deliverables are meeting client’s requirements.
· Effective liaisons with client’s management team and 3rd party system representatives.
· Resolve system incidents within stipulated SLA.
· Effective liaisons with team lead and provide frequent reports to team lead on status update.
· Timely escalation of issues to Team Lead to mitigate serious repercussion.
· Compliance with project policies, processes, procedures and documentation.
· Design, build and test production break/fixes and enhancements
· Establish and update operational and technical specifications and requirements.
· Involved in patch upgrade exercises and regression testing.
· Deliver change requests.
· Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications
· Conduct project and issue management (status reporting, issue reporting) for assigned scope of work
· Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system roll-outs, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications
· Analyze, design, build, and/or test new components or enhancements to existing modules. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.
· Provide regular status report on assigned tasks to the Team Lead.
Knowledge and Skills:
· Good functional knowledge in key SAP HRM modules.
· Good ABAP Knowledge
· Possess good interpersonal and written skills.
· Able to work within a team to understand the impact of changes and achieve maximum results for the client.
· Able to build relationships with and gain the confidence of client and vendor personnel.
· Able to learn functional areas including the configuration and underlying architecture.
· Able to progress functional issues arising, keeping team leads informed of progress.
· Pro-active in identifying areas for improvement within the client's system.
· Accountable for work performed.
· Ability to operate as a team player.
· Be flexible, willing to learn new areas and take on different challenges and jobs to support the team.
