Role Summary (Impact in this Role): Objective / Purpose of the Position 

The Associate Salesforce Administrator is responsible for performing general declarative Salesforce administrative duties, assisting with the ongoing maintenance and development of our Salesforce instance, helping to deliver high-quality enhancements, and providing 1st tier support for the organization. A Salesforce Admin provides day-to-day support, administration of Salesforce, maintain data cleanliness, and will generate/analyze simple to complex reports.

Areas of Responsibility: Essential Functions

  • Manage Salesforce continuous improvement projects end to end, coordinating cross-functionally as necessary to gather requirements, ideate and decide upon solution paths, implementation and testing. 
  • Identify areas for improvement and cross-functional dependencies. Brainstorm solutions and suggest optimal solution path.
  • Gains a deep understanding of sales systems and processes and provides insights into the impact of any potential configuration changes.
  • Manage Salesforce configuration projects, including (but not limited to): Declarative Automation, objects, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards, and reports.
  • Assist with onboarding and project training/enablement for sales tools and processes.
  • Generates and analyzes simple and complex reports from Salesforce based on business needs as requested by the sales and sales management team
  • Provides day-to-day support and administration for Salesforce
  • Manage all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups
  • Maintains data cleanliness, identifies, and resolves data inaccuracies within our systems
  • User support tickets
  • Bulk data management
  • Manage deal desk processes

Preferred Experience/Qualifications

  • 0-5 years of professional experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • 4-year degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. Degrees in similar analytical areas of study will also be considered.
  • Salesforce Admin Certification is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.
  • A successful candidate will also exhibit a strong desire to learn and understand all aspects of the company’s operations and be able to interact directly with other departments.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of SQL Server or academic study of SQL is preferred.
  • Ability to travel 0-10% annually in the U.S. for team meetings, offsites, etc.
