Day in the Life of a Salesforce Quality Assurance Consultant
As a Salesforce Quality Assurance Consultant within the Neocol Delivery Team, you will be responsible for the design, documentation and execution of manual test scripts across all stages of our project life cycle. The Quality Assurance Consultant will implement testing best practices, methodologies to improve the quality of our Salesforce Implementations and meet solution requirements for projects
- Collaborative project team member to be point of contact for all QA related activities
- Develop overall testing strategies for projects
- Analyze requirements/AC and turn into valuable test plans/scripts and execute on using a variety of test techniques
- Validate user expectations are achieved during the testing process
- Ability to support testing efforts for projects including Integration, System, Regression, Functional/Non Functional and User Acceptance Testing
- Document and evaluate test results and defects
- Track and manage defects and work with Development and Business teams
- Provide testing estimates for assigned projects
- Be passionate about quality and motivated to meet the needs of the client
- Track and report on QA metrics for your projects
- Work with a Senior QA or your Manager to set the UAT best practices for a client on projects
- Triage and retest resolved issues in UAT

Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of prior experience testing the Salesforce platform
- Experience in at least two medium to large-scale full-lifecycle projects as a Salesforce Consultant focused on testing
- Experience using Jira, Zephyr Scale, Slack, Google Suite & LucidChart
- Ability to work in teams with excellent communication skills.
- You should be highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize work both collaboratively as well as independently.
- Ability to write clear, detailed test plans and test cases.
- Work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical resources.
- You are agile and can work well in environments where objectives and priorities are reviewed and assessed regularly.
- Demonstrate ability to work on concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
- Curiosity to look around corners and identify gaps
- Ability to work in the Neocol office in Montevideo 2 times per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Test Lead role or consulting
- Salesforce Admin Certification
- Salesforce CPQ Certification
- Salesforce Billing experience and Superbadges
- Knowledgeable about the following is a plus: Revenue Cloud, B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, Tableau/CRM, RightRev, NetSuite/ARM
- Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English
