As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Architect, you will bring considerable technical and product expertise to deliver world-class SFMC-based solutions to clients. The Marketing Cloud Architect is a key member of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Customer success’s team and is responsible for leading the design and delivery of solutions on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This person will translate business requirements into a technology solution and implement that solution in an accurate, efficient and reliable manner.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the customer need and provide the solution architecture that best addresses the technical and business requirements at scale
  • Be the trusted advisor to our customers, prospects and the broader cross functional teams
  • Provide technical effort estimates and timelines
  • Lead the implementation of new Salesforce Marketing Cloud opportunities as applicable 
  • Lead the development team which is responsible for the implementation of SFMC services including Journey Builder and various Studios
  • Develop technical integration approaches, including data flow and architectural diagram/visuals.
  • Develop customized presentations, demonstrations, and prototypes
  • Work with cross functional new business team on new SFMC opportunities

About You

  5+ years hands-on experience in Salesforce
    •    3+ years of Marketing Cloud experience, including Email Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, MobileConnect, MobilePush, and Einstein
    •    Experience with writing SQL (MS SQL) and AMPscript
    •    Familiarity with HTML, XML, CSS and JavaScript
    •    Strong understanding of SOAP APIs, REST APIs and integration architectures
    •    Experience working with client teams and consulting staff through full-lifecycle implementations and/or implementing integrated solutions including SFMC ecosystem.
    •    Hands-on platform experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and/or other SFMC products and ecosystems.
    •    Experience in a technical leadership role designing, building, and executing complex automated marketing programs with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
    •    Understand the out-of-the-box Marketing Cloud functionality, and have the ability to leverage these based on customer requirements.
    •    Expected to be both a leader and an individual contributor.
    •    Track record of working independently to drive projects to completion in a matrixed environment
    •    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining flexibility and performing at a high level when faced with time constraints
