Trustpilot is embarking on an exciting global growth journey and is seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist/Admin to further the support of our Growth and Regional Marketing teams.

Trustpilot is growing fast. However, support of this growth is increasingly dependent on the systems and processes. This role will provide two critical elements to marketing:

  1. In this role, you will support the development, execution, and management of email marketing campaigns, while also assisting with platform administration and light development tasks.You will play an integral role in maintaining and optimising our marketing operations using Salesforce Marketing Cloud, ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively, data is managed properly, and performance is tracked.
  2. The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist/Admin will collaborate with teams across the organisation to support and improve the effectiveness of marketing efforts. This is an engaging and hands-on role, so will suit an individual who is willing to learn on the job and continuously hone their skills.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Ability to regularly monitor system performance, ensuring no downtime, slowdowns, or errors in processes like automations and journeys
  • Proficiency in identifying and resolving issues related to campaign deployments, automation failures, data import/export, and system integrations 
  • Expertise in building and managing automations that update data, refresh segments, and trigger campaigns. Regularly review these automations to ensure they are running efficiently and error-free
  • Assist in building and deploying emails, including setting up dynamic content and personalization, to ensure targeted and effective email campaigns that align with marketing strategies
  • Making data accessible and actionable within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This includes managing MC Connect, data extensions, integrating external data sources. You will also need to maintain stable data integrations between SFMC and external systems, such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or third-party CRMs and databases 
  • Implement and maintain security best practices within SFMC, including password policies, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and regular user audits
  • Ensure appropriate role-based permissions are in place, limiting access to sensitive data and ensuring that only authorised users can perform specific actions 
  • Regularly monitor and manage data storage limits and other platform thresholds to avoid performance degradation
  • Assist with tasks related to marketing automation projects, such as audience segmentation, email deliverability, tracking email performance, and helping to grow the opt-in database 
  • Continuously monitor email deliverability rates, ensuring high inbox placement and low bounce rates
  • Track and optimise journeys to prevent bottlenecks, data lags, or broken flows, ensuring customer interactions are seamless and error-free


Who you are:

  • Experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist/Admin including hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Email Studio, Automation Studio, Content Builder, and/or Mobile Studio
  • Knowledge and experience of using HTML, CSS, AMPscript and dynamic content builder
  • Good understanding of marketing automation concepts, strategies, and best practices
  • Experience with implementing and managing MC Connect
  • Familiarity with tracking, analyzing, and optimising email campaign performance metrics.
  • Good analytical skills to interpret campaign data and provide actionable insights.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Admin) are highly desirable
  • Circa 3 years of experience in marketing automation; is proficient in Marketing Cloud and understand CRM integration (Salesforce CRM preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in marketing automation and inbound/ outbound best practices and interdependencies with other tools (webinar platforms, CRM)
  • Effective communication and desire to improve processes
  • Supported highly complex processes and demonstrable ability to understand the framework of campaigns.
  • Full understanding of marketing metrics including analytics and reporting
  • Willingness and desire to grow within a supportive, collaborative, and innovative environment.
  • A hands-on, “can do” attitude is essential
  • We are looking for someone who is eager to continuously learn and stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing automation.

A small but mighty team supporting our global marketing department. The Marketing Operations team is currently based in London and New York and we are growing quickly to support the growing requirements of our Prospect/ Customer Marketing efforts and also develop our Consumer Marketing strategy globally. We are responsible for the day to day management and overall health of our Marketing Technology stack and oversee various integrations and deployment of new systems and technologies. We are accountable for the Marketing attribution models, reporting on and building marketing dashboards and supporting our various Marketing stakeholders. 

As a team we use Jira to track all incoming tasks and requests from our peers in the Marketing department, this is where we measure success for our quarterly goals and key results.
