Who we are looking for
As an Associate Salesforce Developer, you’ll play a vital role at OpenX. We are looking for an individual that can help us continually improve and enhance our Salesforce platform, guided by an experienced Salesforce Product Manager. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and open to learning best practice development from the team. This role comes with the opportunity to absorb knowledge and grow as a developer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Flows to extend Salesforce in order to support business requirements
  • Application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages, Lightning Web Components, 
  • Assist with each release cycle to implement, deploy and test new/updates to existing applications and code
  • Working with integrated applications using API
  • Testing (unit and systems), and debugging code 
  • Striving towards coding best practices and data quality
  • Contributing to technical documentation
  • Supporting other Salesforce Administrator/Developers on occasions for any declarative set up tasks 

Required Qualifications

  • Salesforce knowledge and at least 2 of Salesforce development experience
  • Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I (desired)
  • Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, a professional qualification, or equivalent experience*

Desired Characteristics

  • Experience implementing and developing in Apex, Visualforce, LWC
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications
  • Competency in HTML, XML, JavaScript PHP, SQL, Java or C++ and REST-based web services,
  • Contribution to open-source projects, or personal projects in a good state of development
  • Active in the Salesforce community.
