Salesforce Developer

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Salesforce Developer to join our dynamic Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) team. You will play a crucial role in supporting the development and maintenance of our systems, collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, and IT, and ensure the seamless configuration, pricing, and quoting of our products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Salesforce CPQ Development: Assist in design, develop, and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions to meet business requirements and enhance the overall quote-to-cash process.
  • Customization: Customize and enhance CPQ workflows to optimize the quoting process.
  • Integration: Work closely with the ITS team to integrate CPQ systems with other business applications.
  • Requirements Gathering: Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze CPQ requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
  • Testing and Deployment: Perform thorough testing of CPQ solutions, manage deployments, and ensure the stability of the Salesforce environment.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and release notes.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CPQ system configurations issues

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development with a focus on CPQ
  • Customizing standard objects i.e. Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, Products, Leads, Campaigns, custom objects, Reports and Dashboards
  • Experienced understanding of Salesforce. com platform and sales cloud including configuration, triggers, process builders, visual force, apex coding, batch processes, and database model
  • Build solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, and Salesforce CPQ (previously known as Steelbrick CPQ) including development in Force.com, Lightning Web Component, Visualforce, Lightning, Apex
  • Experience with at least 3 end to end Salesforce CPQ implementation
  • Knowledge of integration techniques, including BOOMI, REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Knowledge and grasp of relational database design and data modeling
  • Proven experience as the technical domain expert on Salesforce.com development, and delivered optimal solution design and strategy
  • Good interpersonal communication skills and an affinity to work in a team environment; have the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities with a flexible and adaptable positive attitude
  • Experience collaborating with project managers to identify project achievements, tasks, and required resources to develop a detailed project plan
  • Experience solving problems and fixing defects for production issues
  • Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist or equivalent certification is mandatory
  • Prior Object Oriented programming experience would be helpful
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Salesforce.com Platform
  • Experience with at least 3 end to end Salesforce CPQ implementation
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading, delivering and enhancing technical implementation of complex projects on Salesforce.com
  • Ability to lead, influence, and negotiate to solve problems and drive to resolution

Total Rewards

Dropbox takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location/metropolitan area, skillset, and peer compensation.  We target most new hire offers between the minimum up to the middle of the range.

Salary/OTE is just one component of Dropbox’s total rewards package. All regular employees are also eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).

Current Salary/OTE Ranges (Subject to change):
• US Zone 1: $142,000 - $167,000 - $192,000.
• US Zone 2: $127,800 - $150,300 - $172,800.
• US Zone 3: $113,600 - $133,600 - $153,600.
 
Dropbox uses the zip code of an employee’s remote work location to determine which metropolitan pay range we use. Current US Zone locations are as follows:
• US Zone 1: San Francisco metro, New York City metro, or Seattle metro
• US Zone 2: Austin (TX) metro, Chicago metro, California (outside SF metro), Colorado, Connecticut (outside NYC metro), Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York (outside NYC metro), Oregon, Pennsylvania (outside NYC or DC metro), Washington (outside Seattle metro), Washington DC metro and West Virginia (DC metro)
• US Zone 3: All other US locations
