Day in the Life of a Business Analyst 

As a Senior Business Analyst on the Neocol Business Consulting Team, you will clearly articulate business requirements for our subscription based clients. You’ll be analyzing data, success metrics, objectives, making recommendations and changes to improve our customers’ experience. Common activities include:

  • Facilitate discovery workshop sessions with client stakeholders to understand and document requirements and business processes. Identifying the clients pain points and what success looks like. 
  • Gain alignment and approval of business requirements & acceptance criteria
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Facilitate Sprint demonstrations efficiently
  • Create business process documentation, training materials and presentations that focus on the implementation project you are assigned
  • Management of the approved requirements & use cases within Jira, making the necessary updates as needed. 
  • Create and maintain a backlog of captured requirements to feed into a clients roadmap for future projects. 
  • Persona identification and conducting journey mapping exercises on your assigned projects

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in at least five medium to large-scale full-lifecycle Salesforce implementations, with strong expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud,  Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud.
  • Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst, Sales/Service cloud  certifications
  • Experience using Jira, Slack, Google Suite & LucidChart
  • Ability to understand varying client needs and respond flexibly and creatively, working with internal resources to recommend and implement the highest ROI for our clients
  • Previous experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical resources.
  • Experience analyzing data and identifying opportunities to drive meaningful standardization of data and processes regionally and/or globally.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage and prioritize while simultaneously working both collaboratively as well as independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to translate technical subject matter to non-technical audiences.
  • Agile and can work well in environments where objectives and priorities are reviewed and assessed regularly.
  • Experience implementing or understanding of use cases related to PRM (Partner Relationship Management)

Nice-to-have Qualifications

  • Knowledgeable about the following is a plus: Revenue Cloud, B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, Mulesoft, Tableau/CRM, RightRev, NetSuite/ARM, Salesforce Billing
  • Jira Certification and advanced training
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification
