Salesforce Architect

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Design: Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions, ensuring they align with business requirements and adhere to best practices.
  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define technical requirements, translating them into effective Salesforce solutions.
  • Integration: Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Customization: Oversee the customization of Salesforce using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other tools to meet specific business needs.
  • Data Management: Ensure data architecture and data quality best practices are followed, including data migration, data modeling, and data governance.
  • Security: Design and enforce security measures and protocols within Salesforce, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and implement strategies to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including design specifications, process flows, and data models.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with Salesforce updates, new features, and best practices, recommending improvements and optimizations as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in Salesforce architecture, with a proven track record of successful Salesforce implementations.
  • Certifications: Salesforce Architect certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect) are highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Extensive experience with Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Lightning Experience.
    • Strong understanding of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, and data migration tools.
    • Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and other Salesforce development tools.
    • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes in a Salesforce environment.
    • Familiarity with related technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
