POSITION SUMMARY:   

Global Atlantic has a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual interested in continued career growth to join our team as a Vice President – Sales focused on the Independent/IMO channel.  We are looking for an individual who will be responsible for meeting/exceeding annuity sales goals, developing new and maintaining existing client relationships with assigned accounts. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:   

  • Develop and maintain strong, productive and profitable relationships with distribution partners to significantly capture sales and market share in the IMO annuity channel.  
  • Partner with the SVP National Accounts, Strategic Partnerships to successfully develop & execute business strategy for assigned accounts in an account-based model.  
  • Manage client relationships primarily through face-to-face visits but also with telephone and email communications. 
  • Use deliberate, thoughtful scheduling and calendar management in order to maximize client time and to ensure activity corresponds to territory priorities.  
  • Partner with internal wholesalers to continue to develop both new and already established relationships. 
  • Explain in detail the features, benefits and advantages of Global Atlantic products to customers. 
  • Responsible for having a deep understanding of the competitive landscape within the insurance industry. 
  • Manage SalesForce account information and content for all accounts. 
  • Manage individual expenses and budget according to Company guidelines. 
  • Responsible for giving presentations and communicating the Global Atlantic story.  

QUALIFICATIONS:  

  • Successful candidates may live Remote but must be willing to travel a significant amount.  
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Seven or more (7+) years of sales experience in the annuity and life insurance industry, preferably in the IMO annuity channel. 
  • Demonstrated experience in wholesaling and relationship management with the ability to drive and increase sales.  
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills with the ability to deliver information articulately and consistently.  
  • Display willingness to quickly learn product lines, procedures and workflows.  
  • Experience with relationship management, expense management, negotiation, and communication.  
  • Takes personal accountability for the execution of goals and objectives.  
  • Consistently meets or exceeds performance expectations.  
  • Significant travel expected. 
  • Have Series 7, 63 and Life & Health licenses or be able to obtain quickly. 

Compensation: This role has a base salary and VIC bonus component. First year total compensation target of $250,000
