Sales Trainer
JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Trainer will be accountable for ongoing facilitation and mastery of our call center training programs. This includes product knowledge, sales closing techniques, systems training, continuing education, special initiatives, and more. They will assist as needed with Sales Operational support, while maintaining their sales and operational knowledge.
They will work closely with various department leaders in identifying needs for further agent development as well as monitor the knowledge and the transitioning of the classroom training to productivity to meet overall business performance goals. Additionally, the Sales Trainer l must successfully train in best practices while providing coaching, guidance and the feedback needed to create the highest quality agents.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Properly onboard new sales experts by equipping them with the right tools, resources, materials, and skills needed for taking calls and creating quality sales.
• Report on the impact of new and existing training programs (e.g. sales achieved, agent behavioral trends etc.).
• Administer training for designated campaign groups with the ability to deliver, project and motivate trainees through effective training methodologies both in group and individual classroom dynamics.
• Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions both in-person and
virtually, covering a range of sales and sales management competencies and skills.
• Conduct post-training assessments through call audits and observation to measure program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
• Partner with SLs to provide one-on-one coaching to sales professionals, offering feedback and guidance to help them improve their skills and achieve their sales goals.
• Provide support to Operations by analyzing sales performance data and metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
• Collaborate with management to identify company training needs, identify performance gaps, and implement training best practices to ensure alignment with company needs.
• Partner with Training Leadership Team to assist, when necessary, with training material design, as well as the implementation and revision of training curricula to support current and future business needs.
• Support the QA activities and goals through training initiatives.
• Conduct refresher sessions for current employees on new or updated sales center procedures and provider updates when requested.
• Conduct role-playing exercises to help employees practice their skills, during new hire training, refresher sessions and off the phone coaching sessions.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
• Ensure effective and on-going training of sales channel, evaluate, record individual and team performance and make appropriate developmental recommendations.
• Monitor training performance on LMS Tool.
• Join weekly call calibration sessions with QAs, Operations, and clients for a more objective assessment of customer interactions. as well as identify opportunities to refine agents’ training for improved future performance.
• Process sales calls weekly, to stay updated on systems, processes and call scenarios that can be used to improve training experience.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a similar role within a sales training or BPO organization. (Minimum 1 year)- preferred.
• Associate degree in education, business, or a related field. (preferred).
• Sales certification or training accreditation is a plus.
• Proven knowledge and experience with MS Office, especially PowerPoint, Word & Excel.
