As Sales Team Leader, you'll be the guiding force for a team of sales representatives (10-12) who are passionate about providing top-notch service to our customers. Your mission will be to inspire and support your team as they engage in meaningful conversations with potential clients, all while driving new business sales.
Reporting directly to the General Manager - Sales, you'll take charge of motivating your team to hit those all-important targets and maintain our high service standards. You'll be involved in analysing performance metrics, celebrating successes, and identifying areas for growth.
Your role goes beyond numbers; you're a coach, a mentor, and an encouraging presence. You’ll embody our customer-first philosophy and play a crucial part in our continued success!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan and prioritise sales activities to achieve agreed targets and devise incentives.
- Work to individual and group sales targets.
- Manage and motivate staff on a daily basis.
- Conduct interview process for recruitment and assist with training requirements for the team as well as conducting monthly team appraisals.
- Maintain a full level of understanding of fuel cards, the competition and the market and ensure that this knowledge is communicated and understood by staff.
- Maintain and develop new and existing customers through appropriate sales methods, to optimise quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality and personal appearance.
- To undertake additional duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Sales Manager.
- Any other duties as may be reasonably required.
Requirements

- Good standard of education preferably with a ‘C’ or equivalent in English and Maths.
- Experience working in an office environment essential, preferably with Business-to-Business Telesales experience.
- Supervisory skills would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages – Word, Outlook and Excel.
- Good communicator with a professional confident telephone manner and excellent customer service skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with ability to organise and prioritize.
- Resilience when working under pressure with a strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
