Job Purpose:
To work as a Sales Support Assistant to increase our portfolio of Chinese customers and develop mutually beneficial and profitable relationships with them.
Dimensions:
To manage and develop existing Chinese customers in line with the CVP, engage in price negotiations, manage DSO and work in line with the MOA.
Achieve individual performance indicators that will be assigned to support the achievement of business goals for the organization.
Actively prospect for new Chinese businesses, practicing Sales 1st disciplines. These include Sales CRM, effective call-planning, call-reporting, use of SPANCOP sales funnel, development of account plans and maintaining Top 5/Big 5 focus
Be responsible and proactive in HSSE issues affecting Self, Staff, Customers and the Environment.
Organization:
Work with the Field Based Account Manager, FBAM – Construction & Bitumen, to manage the Chinese customers in his portfolio of Accounts and other Chinese companies in the country
Direct accountability will however be to the Commercial Manager.
