Sales Representative Central Europe

  • Take over and develop existing Key Accounts in Germany and Austria incl. B2C Distribution Customers
  • Define potentials and non-potentials new customer in channel to be able to set new activities.
  • Identify, research and conduct analysis on customers and prospects within the various vertical markets.  Profile these customers to develop applications for our products.
  • Work closely with Channel Marketing / Business Marketing / Business Operation
  • Sell and manage Sell OUT strategies & activities that will help achieve sales targets, volume and market share by driving effective marketing programs for Distributor, Retailer and Etailer accounts in support of these goals
  • Become fully trained to sell the technical features of the product and demonstrate the customer’s value of buying from Western Digital.
  • Become an expert in all WDC pricing/report Systems like Model N and Salesforce.
  • Ensure that customers see the value added of WD products over competitive products.
  • Analyse the POS information for territorial quantitative goals.
  • Maintain technical skill of the storage industry thru publications, trade shows and WD training.
  • Apply innovation to develop Corporate-approved marketing programs that will increase sell-thru and create greater brand equity.
  • Provide market research to Corporate Sales & Marketing for product launch/G2 and competitive analysis.
  • Responsible to report errors and strive for improvements in the accuracy of the POS Report.

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar qualification

PREFERRED:

  • Minimum 4 years in Business with sales experience
  • Proven sales ability

SKILLS:

  • Clearly communicate in English & German language. (verbal and written forms)
  • Independent, self-motivated and success-driven, yet willing to work within a team environment.
  • Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality of work with minimal supervision.
  • Sales experience and managing distribution customers is a plus in the storage field
  • Conduct business in ethical manner
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook; SalesForce.com; 
  • Perfect Microsoft Excel Skills is a must
  • Discretion and Decision Making
  • Understands implication of work and makes recommendations for solution
  • Escalate problematic disputes to supervisor
  • Follows departmental and organization policies and procedure
