Here’s what you’d do:

The Sales Representative promotes and sells products/services to customers and represents the BrightView brand. This role is responsible for connecting people and communities by offering best-in-class landscaping services.

You’d be responsible for:

  • Acquires new commercial customers through “door-to-door,” direct marketing, and other activities. Includes identifying prospective customers, lead generation and conversion.
  • Conducts proactive consultative needs analysis with new prospective customers.
  • Assists operational partners to negotiate contracts and pricing schedules with customers.
  • Develops and presents sales presentations/proposals on products and services that meet customers’ needs.
  • Maintains positive business relationships to ensure future sales.
  • Well-informed about our competitors' activities in assigned territory; informs manager of any changing competitive pricing programs, marketing directives, or door-to-door sales tactics.
  • Attends and successfully completes training programs.
  • Performs other duties as requested by supervisor.

  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards sales and customer interactions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and client needs. Willingness to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work well within a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to clearly convey information and persuade potential customers is crucial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Prior experience in a previous sales position, prospecting, or cold calling; direct sales experience is beneficial.
  • Computer skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
