Objective of the Role
We are currently looking for a dynamic Sales Operations Specialist to join our Sales Strategy and Operations team to support and optimize the sales processes within our organization. This role requires demonstrated experience with major CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team, and other stakeholders, providing insights and solutions that enhance efficiency and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities:
- Salesforce Administration & Management:
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales data within Salesforce by regularly auditing and cleaning up data.
- Customize Salesforce to meet the specific needs of the sales team, including creating custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and reports.
- Process Optimization & Documentation:
- Evaluate existing sales processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation within Salesforce.
- Collaborate with the sales team to implement new processes, monitor adoption, and refine them based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Sales Support & Enablement:
- Provide ongoing support and training to sales team members on Salesforce and related tools, ensuring they are equipped to use the platform effectively.
- Assist in the onboarding of new sales team members by providing training on Salesforce and company sales processes.
- Sales Forecasting & Planning:
- Assist sales leadership in sales forecasting by analyzing historical data, market trends, and pipeline information within Salesforce.
- Ensure that sales targets and forecasts are accurately reflected and updated in Salesforce.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with finance to ensure accurate tracking of sales revenue, invoicing, commissions, and other financial metrics.
- Work closely with legal to ensure that purchase orders and contracts are in line with our compliance obligations and sales strategies.
- Partner with analytics and engineering to maintain Salesforce integrations with other platforms and tools, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation.
- Sales Analytics & Reporting:
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide visibility into sales performance.
- Present data-driven insights and recommendations to the sales leadership team to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce.com, ideally Sales Cloud & Salesforce CPQ. Experience within a subscription-based business is preferred.
- Innovative mindset complemented by strong technical skills.
- Demonstrated experience of the sales operations role and domain.
- Exceptional attention to detail with strong problem-solving, research, and analytical capabilities. A natural curiosity to improve processes, leave a clean workspace, and develop intelligent solutions.
- Must be collaborative, agile, and able to work iteratively and independently.
- Capable of finding solutions in a complex, fast-paced environment. Must have excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
