Sales Operations Specialist (3 month contract)

The gig

As a key part of the Q4 Sales Operations Team, as the Sales Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for running the Deal Desk at Q4 and be the first point of contact supporting the Sales and Customer Success teams with Salesforce, Pricing, Quoting, and other Sales Operations Processes. You will also be responsible for the data audit process and maintaining data hygiene within Salesforce.


**This is a 3 month contract**

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Q4 Deal desk process: 
  • Ensure that Opportunities are priced appropriately, and that the sales process runs smoothly and efficiently
  • Build out and maintain Deal Desk rules document
  • Build out and maintain Rules of Engagement document
  • Run the Closed Won Process to ensure that elements of an Opportunity are setup correctly before passing the sale on to Finance
  • Support Channel Referral Process
  • Handle Level 1 Salesforce inquiries (eg. How do I find a contract in SF?)
  • Handle Level 1 SalesOps inquiries (eg. Pricing, Products, Standard Deal Structure, Quote FAQs)

  •  Data cleanup and support pipeline hygiene:
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency of sales data into Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer success and business systems to enrich prospects and accounts data

  • Sales process documentation and improvement:
  • Provide recommendations to improve and automate sales processes
  • Document sales processes, maintain documentation related to data hygiene and quality control procedures

Desired Skills, Education & experience

  • 2+ years of sales operations experience within the SaaS industry. 
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to work with data.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks/projects and define priorities that align with the team’s big picture goals.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on pace rather than perfection.
  • Salesforce related experience particularly with Salesforce CPQ and / or documented training certifications preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to deal with all levels of the business.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a business-related field.
