The Sales Operations Manager will lead the Sales Operations team to provide support services focussed on structured sales administration, Salesforce (CRM) support, data analysis & investigation, reporting, and data management / entry support. The team will be a key link between the Sales teams and the Asia CRM team and will work to support the Sales team to maximise the benefits of our CRM system, Salesforce.com.
The Manager will lead, coach and manage performance of this team to deliver specialist services which drive greater sales productivity and efficiency across multiple Event/product teams.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Lead a team of Sales Operations employees to deliver quality and consistent support services to the Sales teams, including but not limited to enabling administration including issuing sales contract and invoice, after sales service on exhibitor manual order forms.
2. Manage the quality and delivery of the services of the team, and the professional development of the team members, including performance assessment processes where relevant
3. Manage the resourcing required and flexibility across brands to respond to demand spikes, and efficiently run the sales operations team to achieve margin goals
4. In the first instance, the capability is responsible for providing support focussed in eight main areas:
5. Provide support to the sales leadership in defining sales strategies and campaigns by providing insight from sales performance data and facilitating the link to the CRM team to translate these campaigns into the systems
6. Co-ordinate Sales Operations input to forecasting/budgeting processes working closely with Sales leadership and Finance
7. Identify trends in performance / productivity of sales teams and facilitate the sharing of information and leveraging of good practice
8. Drive quality and consistency across Sales Ops processes
9. Working with Finance, Sales Leadership, and HR to provide assistance with Sales commission / incentive administration
10. Adhere and commit to the Informa Markets Commitments and lead by example
11. Perform additional duties as required.
