WHY BOX NEEDS YOU
Box is growing. Sales Operations (SOPS) has a critical role in supporting this growth. As a Sales Operations Manager, you will report to the Director on the GTM Operations Team in Japan. This role involves supporting Box Japan's Sales team help maximize the results from their activities. You will accomplish this by effectively collaborating with Boxers in other departments, specifically Sales, Inside Sales, Marketing, SP&A as well as your peers at HQ. In doing so, you will ensure GTM Ops is seen as a critical element of our revenue 'engine' by our Go-To-Market leaders in Sales & Marketing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsible for day to day transactional work such as supporting the Sales/Channel team
Support the strategy of Japan Sales and Channel Ops to get to the next level of scale and success
Manage the relationship with key strategic partners from an operational standpoint, triaging problems and fielding feedback on how to improve the current systems and processes
Establish a thorough understanding of all Box processes that impact partners including - but not limited to - partner on-boarding, deal registrations, order management, new product introductions, and price changes.
Train internal teams and external partners on new channel programs, systems, policies, or initiatives.
Support sales teams by managing complex deals, ensuring compliance, and optimizing contract terms and pricing, often acting as a bridge between sales, legal, and finance
Work closely with our US HQ and EMEA offices to help streamline aforementioned processes while communicating internally for cross region collaboration
Own project management on key initiatives that impact the Sales/Channel Team and Programs.
Cross-support other GTM Operations area (such as Sales Operations, Marketing Operations or Deal Desk)
Other sales support activities may be required
WHO YOU ARE
Native level Japanese (written/verbal) and Business level English (written/verbal)
BA/BS or equivalent 4-year degree required Comfortable in working with members in global offices on your own Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as contribute to the team
Comfortable in working with members in global offices on your own
3+ years dedicated order management or sales/channel operations experience at a foreign capitalized company
Familiarity with Salesforce and another Software-as-a-Service a plus
Pro-active team player with positive service minded attitude, and the flexibility to get things done
Strong problem solving, judgment, organizational and communication skills
Highly focused; able to execute on one-off projects as well as on routine tasks
Ability to manage high volume of transactions and juggle multiple responsibilities
Can-do attitude, good sense of humor, hard worker, self-starter and ability to positively influence others would be a big plus
Ability to adjust to competing demands and priorities and to operate within ambiguous situations and multiple constraints.
