The Role

The Director of Sales Operations will drive business growth using data-driven insights to support our sales and partner organization. This position will work closely with global sales leadership on the most important strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and efficiencies. As a key business advisor to the VP of Sales, the Director of Sales Operations will play a major role in deriving insights from the company’s marketing and sales data as well as be responsible for evaluating and optimizing the Sales Processes, Policies, and Methodologies for the Pantheon go-to-market team.

The ideal candidate will have analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable interacting with all levels, including Executive Management, Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations leaders and colleagues.  We're seeking a self-starter who can recognize where processes can be improved and who will take the initiative to improve them.

What you need to Succeed 

  • Drive core business cadences to monitor the health of the business (e.g., forecasting, pipeline reviews, sales performance, QBRs)
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our sales technology stack, ensuring flawless data management and utilization.
  • Collaborate with the broader Go-To-Market (GTM) Ops team to establish and refine performance metrics, facilitating informed decision-making across all revenue motions.
  • Redefine and optimize the territorial distribution ensuring comprehensive market coverage and increased sales efficiency.
  • Swiftly address and resolve operational challenges, suggesting improvements to systems, policies, and processes to fuel scalable growth.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Finance to construct and execute 
  • Work in tandem with the Sales Enablement team to identify and rectify knowledge and skill gaps, ensuring ongoing development and training.
  • Limited travel may be required

What You Bring To The Table

  • Adaptable, entrepreneurial, and quick to act, thriving in dynamic, growth-focused settings.
  • A passion for business intelligence, with a comprehensive understanding of sales processes and methodologies.
  • You seek to understand to develop your point of view and then drive alignment and execute with urgency
  • Can quickly structure analyses to answer key business questions to drive decision-making
  • 5+ years experience in management consulting, sales operations or sales management
  • Experience using and developing reports, metrics and dashboards within Salesforce, Salesloft and Google Sheets
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience with senior management

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience in SaaS, open source, and/or website development environments
  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools like Marketo, Salesforce

The US base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $190,000 per year. This position also offers variable compensation dependent on performance. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. At Pantheon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
