Model N is looking for college students (who have completed their junior year) ready to jump start their career exposure with an internship. We offer unparalleled hands-on experience working in an exciting yet challenging industry. Consider this an early career start, where you will have the opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by some of the brightest minds at Model N. 
 
You will have the opportunity to get to know the other Model N interns and participate in workshops and trainings designed just for you and your peers.  In addition, each week there will be time for additional learning through LinkedIn Learning on topics to help you develop your skills and business acumen.  
 
As an intern with the Sales Operations and Enablement team, you will experience a supportive learning environment, opportunities to participate in meaningful work and have some fun! You will meet and work with kind and inspiring Model N’ers, become a member of the team and have access to Model N leaders. 
 
You will partner closely with the Sales Operations and Enablement team, working on developing, executing, and measuring Model N’s internal Product Certification Program for Sales and other cross-functional team members. The intern will also partner closely with Sales Operations and Enablement team to learn about the Model N Way of Selling to understand how we currently train and sales team, and to help continue to build out the series with additional topics.  

Objectives: 
·      Support the enhancement of functionality and effectiveness of current Sales Enablement programs in Highspot, specifically the Sales team’s Product Certification and Model N Way of Selling initiatives. 
·      Assist in developing new resources to support the Model N Sales team, enabling the sales organization to be more effective and efficient at their jobs. 
·      Provide the intern with hands-on experience in working with leading Sales Enablement technology tools like Highspot, Workday, Chorus, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. 
·      Develop the intern's skills and knowledge in various Sales Enablement tools to prepare them for potential rehire next year.

·      Contribute to Highspot with for sales team focused learning, enhancing the effectiveness of product enablement and accelerating pipeline. 
·      Provide valuable training and development opportunities for the intern, contributing to their professional growth and potential future employment with the organization. 
·      Strengthen sales organization development by providing resources that help sales team members understand Model N’s product & services portfolio and selling skills through their own development.  
·      Position the organization as a leader in leveraging technology for sales team development, driving innovation and excellence in employee learning experiences. 
·      Foster a culture of continuous learning and development by investing in both employee and intern growth opportunities. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Enablementteam to understand the sales organization's existing enablement programs, including the Product Certification Program and Model N Way of Selling series. 
  • Participate in training sessions to gain hands-on experience with Highspot and the Workday Learning LMS platform. 
  • Assist in configuring and customizing Highspot settings to align with the enablement programs’ framework and learning objectives. 
  • Conduct testing to ensure the functionality and usability of Highspot for end-users. 
  • Use Highspot Community to learn about industry trends and best practices in Highspot to contribute innovative ideas to the project. 
  • Document processes, procedures, and best practices related to the sales enablement programs in Highspot for future reference and knowledge sharing. 

Qualifications:

  • Strong aptitude for learning new software systems and technology. 
  • Experience in sales, sales enablement, marketing or education services is preferred, but not required. 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills  
  • Strong ability to collaborate 
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn, take on new challenges, and continuously improve skills and knowledge. 

Compensation

  • This internship will be paid hourly ($20-$22/hour).
