Duties & Responsibilities:
The Sales Operations Analyst reports directly to the Sr. Director of Global Sales Operations and is responsible for assisting in analysis activities, sales forecasting, sales compensation, Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce.com) reporting, general sales operations analysis, and supporting go to market (GTM) projects and programs as assigned.
The role is accountable for providing support across all Sales Operations functional disciplines including: Processes Systems and Tools, Sales Compensation, Reporting & Analytics, Deal Desk, and Field Operations.
Sales Analytics & Planning
- Responsible for supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance reporting and communications to the GTM organization.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of necessary models/systems and continue to annual budgeting, forecasting, and other strategic initiatives.
- Review and analyze internal sales data to identify issues, opportunities and trends and provide actionable insight to sales leaders.
- Work with the Sales Operations leadership team to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) used to measure overall sales performance.
Sales Compensation
- Manage compensation plans and work with finance to deliver monthly commissions to the Go-To-Market team.
- Update relevant systems consistently with plan objectives to maintain commission tools and compensation data.
- Partner with Finance, HR, and Sales leadership to continue to develop and fine tune commission plans by providing strategic financial insights and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with plan participants when they have questions, and regularly train and educate plan participants on the structure of their plans.
Deal Desk
- Manage Transmit Security’s Configure, Price and Quote tools and processes to ensure efficient support and coordination of deal related information with all involved cross functional teams.
- Help ensure that the execution of the deal review and approval process follows company policies and guidelines with an emphasis on Quote, Order Form generation and Closed Won reconciliation with Finance.
Processes, Systems & Tools
- Work with cross-functional team leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement; facilitate the successful implementation of new programs through the sales organization by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and cleanliness of the CRM, working with Marketing, Sales, Product, and business Systems teams.
- Train the global Sales team regarding the CRM and best practices and help create alignment and standardization, both for new hires and ongoing, this includes creating and maintaining training material.
- Work with the Systems team to ensure data flow and analytics across Transmit’s Go-To-Market Tech stack: Salesforce, Outreach, Chorus.ai, ZoomInfo SalesOS, ZoomInfo OperationsOS, and other SaaS platforms.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or similar.
- 2+ years of experience with a high growth SaaS technology company.
- Strong quantitative and technical skills, project management, and organization skills.
- Team player that understands success rests on helping others to be successful.
- Proven track record of effectively interfacing with cross-functional departments and sales management teams.
- Knowledge in related sales and marketing tools including Salesforce, Outreach, Chorus.ai, ZoomInfo SalesOS, and ZoomInfo OperationsOS is a strong advantage.
- Able to build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the sales organization’s efficient operation and success.
- Experience in working at a multinational company.
- Effective communicator; comfortable and experienced at multiple levels.
- Highly skilled using Microsoft Office and Google Suite with advanced proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets.
