POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Sales Manager at Mythic Talent, you will help guide our sales efforts and drive revenue growth through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of existing accounts. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, coaching and mentoring sales representatives, and overseeing the sales process from prospecting to closing. This position requires a strong self-starter who is a passionate strategic thinker, and a proven track record of success in sales and negotiations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Sales Manager, your key responsibilities involve supporting your Senior Partner Manager and the Director of Sales in various aspects of securing opportunities from our existing brand-client and agency partners. Here's a breakdown of your key responsibilities:

  • Proficient Inbound Sales Negotiations
    • Handle communications and negotiations with assigned inbound sales leads with determined or expected budgets under $100,000.
    • Sales Managers should have a strong understanding of Mythic’s roster and our key sellers.
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, serving as the primary point of contact for sales inquiries, negotiations, and account management. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Sales Presentations
    • Conduct sales presentations and demonstrations to showcase Mythic Talent's services and capabilities. Tailor presentations to address the specific needs and priorities of each client.
  • Pipeline Management
    • Manage and monitor the sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and deals through various stages of the sales cycle. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and forecasts.
  • Proposal Development
    • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, outlining the value proposition and benefits of partnering with Mythic Talent. Negotiate terms and pricing to close deals.
  • Account Management
    • Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support, addressing any issues or concerns, and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Pipeline Management
    • Maintain a pipeline of sales opportunities, tracking leads, prospects, and deals through various stages of the sales process. Keep accurate records of sales activities and communications in CRM software.
  • Collaboration
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including talent management, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of services and support to clients. Coordinate with colleagues to leverage resources and expertise in sales efforts.
  • Market Research
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of market changes.
  • Sales Reporting
    • Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management, providing insights into sales performance, pipeline activity, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Continuous Learning
    • Stay updated on product offerings, sales techniques, and industry best practices through training, workshops, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and quotas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and optimization.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
