The Importance of this Role

 

The Sales Manager role in our Phoenix office is vital to driving growth, fostering a culture of accountability, and building a strong, high-performing team. This leader will take extreme ownership, ensuring success through the creation of effective processes and the cultivation of meaningful relationships. They will act as a builder—of systems, trust, and scalable strategies—that empower the team to exceed goals. With a focus on coaching and development, the Sales Manager will inspire individuals to thrive while aligning team efforts with the company’s vision. This position is central to shaping the future success of our Phoenix market.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Coach and develop a team of licensed agents
  • Hold agents accountable to achieving certain levels of performance across established metrics
  • Achieve objectives through effective performance management of their team
  • Work effectively with senior leadership to execute on company OKRs
  • Lead presentations about the agency for a variety of audiences
  • Provide feedback about agency technology, leads, carriers, and customer experience
  • Participate in process improvement projects as needed
  • Accomplish additional assigned tasks as needed

 

What You Offer

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years experience in managing sales teams
  • Minimum 1 year contact center experience
  • Startup experience is preferred 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical skills; able to use data to drive performance
  • Ability to develop and motivate agents
  • Motivated, self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
