The EMEA (Europe Middle-East & Africa) and APAC (Asia Pacific) departments combine the commercial activities of D-EDGE in their respective regions. Each country is under the direction of a Country Manager. The Sales teams prospect new customers.
💻 YOUR SCOPE:
As part of the growth of our activities in Italy and as Sales Manager, your main objective will be to generate new business opportunities (independent Hotels and Regional chains) and increase D-EDGE’s sales. You’ll have the opportunity to manage the entire sales process, from discovery to closing !
🎯 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
- Develop a sustained pipeline by actively prospecting via cold-calls, marketing lead follow-up, professional relationships to independently close contracts
- Develop and maintain relationships with key prospects
- Effectively and independently deliver D-EDGE value proposition, perform sales presentations and demonstrations
- Develop, write, and deliver value-based sales proposals and respond to RFP
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Appropriately engage management and staff in the sales cycle and provide on-going feedback to other areas of the organisation
- Consistently and regularly use Salesforce and Salesloft to provide timely and accurate forecasting and reporting of activity
- Participate in Trade Fairs and sales seminars
⭐WHAT YOU’VE GOT:

- Italian native & fluent in English
- Based in Rome
- Minimum 5 years selling experience in a software or SaaS company for the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated sales track record in meeting or exceeding assigned individual quota, including a proven track record of new business sales
- Strong cold calling skills: you should be comfortable calling directly into an organisation and seeking out decision-makers for our products and services
- Strong negotiation skills
- Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver on commitments
- Tech-savvy
- Customer-focused, independent, sense of responsibility and target focused
- Frequent travel is required

- Previous experience using SalesForce and Salesloft
- Any additional language spoken is a plus
- Strong network is a plus
