Direct the promotion and sales strategies of seed varieties in the country, based on the defined budget and the organization's rules and policies, with the aim of contributing to the achievement of the established business goals and profitability objectives.
This position reports to: General Manager.
Role Responsibilities:
Develop commercial relationships with key suppliers and clients in different regions to ensure the established sales goals and objectives are met.
Define commercial strategies that ensure the fulfillment of the plan in your region.
Coordinate promotional activities and technical training for clients, aiming to promote the organization's materials and inform them about the benefits of using the seed varieties we offer.
Coordinate strategies for identifying and developing potential clients and markets to increase seed sales volumes.
Monitor management and business indicators to identify deviations and implement corrective and/or preventive measures to ensure the fulfillment of established sales and profitability objectives.
Follow up on the collection portfolio in the region to develop strategies that support the recovery of the organization’s accounts.
Coordinate monitoring activities of competitors' commercial strategies to identify them and develop our own strategies.
Prepare sales plans, planning your actions by considering the necessary and available resources to execute these plans.
Set goals and objectives.
Calculate the actual market demand considering our market share to forecast sales as accurately as possible.
Determine the size and structure of the sales force.
Assist in recruiting, selecting, and training salespeople.
Define the territory, establish sales quotas, and define performance standards, considering each salesperson's closing potential and their respective areas.
Conduct cost of sales analysis, determining the cost to achieve desired sales to analyze the expenses the company will incur in meeting objectives and goals.
Evaluate the performance of the sales force, assessing the performance of salespeople by comparing the current period with previous ones and among the same salespeople.
Education:
Certified Agricultural Engineer
Experience / Skills / Abilities:
Spanish / 80% English

3 years or more in the field and similar activities
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the business, financial concepts, marketing, logistics, and sales. Familiarity with the area, both in the field and in relationships with potential clients and suppliers.
Software Knowledge: Office Suite, Internet, Outlook, Gowan Seed Database.
Skills: Excellent customer service attitude, negotiation, communication, initiative, and interaction with clients and suppliers. Organization, dynamism, professional ethics, teamwork, leadership, training of work teams, and human resources management.
Effective and responsible management of the company's time and resources.
Responsible management of the operational budget for the area.
