Sales Manager - Automotive Magnetics and Passive Components (f/m/d)

Delta EMEA – Component Business Group (CPBG) is looking for a Sales Manager based in Germany with solid technical background to join our automotive team. The Sales Manager will be responsible for the business development activities and sales revenue growth of power magnetics and current sensing solutions in the assigned automotive accounts.

This function requires a proven record of accomplishment in key account management, especially in the automotive ECU and/or electrification (xEV) areas. We are looking for candidates with analytical and automotive process-driven problem solving capabilities, a self-motivated personality with strong sense of commitment, and excellent communication skills in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team environment.

Principal Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to enable accelerated sales growth in the assigned automotive Tier-1 and/or OEM accounts.
  • Be the German focal point to handle all commercial activities and coordinate technical, logistic, and quality related discussions with key stakeholders.
  • Have a clear and open communication style and be the link among the German customers, Business Units (BU) and factories in Asia.
  • Work closely with Product and Marketing teams to understand competitive landscape and implement strategic actions to strengthen company’s competitive position in the German market.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and product roadmap update meetings at existing customers.
  • Identify key contact windows and set up product introduction meetings with prospect customers.
  • Report sales activities and sales revenue projections to the EMEA and BU Management on a monthly and semi-annual basis.
  • Support cross Business Group / Business Unit accounts and conduct cross-selling activities.
  • MS or BS degree in engineering or related fields to power electronics
  • Minimum 3 years of successful key account management in automotive component business
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in an international business environment
  • Strong ability to handle commercial and technical discussions
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal & presentation skills
  • Great capability to organize and prioritize multiple accounts / tasks
  • Independent and highly self-driven personality. Respect schedule and timeline
  • Open minded, flexible, and extrovert
  • Fluent in spoken and written English and German. Knowledge of Chinese (Mandarin) is a plus
  • EU citizenship or permanent resident permit in Germany
  • In possession of a driver’s license, frequent travels in Europe (~30%) and occasional trips to Asia required
