We are seeking a Sales Lead to support an existing Financial Services client. Blend provides professional services focused on AI/ML, data engineering business intelligence, product management and marketing operations. The Sales Lead is responsible for identifying new buyers in untapped areas of the client’s organization to drive growth. This is a relationship focused sales role working with a single Fortune 100 client.
Responsibilities
Identify business opportunities with net new buyers in an existing client.
Build effective relationships at all levels of the client organization.
Collaborate with Blend SMEs to pitch services and capabilities.
Manage a structured sales process.
Update the sales pipeline with notes and activities in a timely manner.
Write proposals and Statements of Work (SOW).
Achieve targeted KPIs for outreach, meetings, proposals, SOW and TCV (total contract value).
Negotiate pricing to achieve the most optimal margin for Blend.
Remain engaged with clients and delivery team once work has commenced, ensuring smooth progression while actively looking for new ways to deepen the client relationship.
Proven sales professional with a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience selling professional services in data science, data engineering, business intelligence, and/or marketing operations.
Financial Services experience is highly desired.
Consultative seller who can collaborate with client leadership and Service Lines to sell solutions that will deliver client impact.
Ability to articulate how businesses use data, analytics and technology to drive results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Creative, resourceful, well-organized & solution-oriented self-starter who can function in ambiguity.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel 20% or more.
