About the Opportunity:

Reports to: Director of Sales 

Department: Sales 

The Solutions Consultant is a software onboarding and pre-sales expert who is a resource, guide and project manager for customers as they are introduced to ShipHawk, onboarded and then implement ShipHawk for their business. The role includes technical project management, solution design, consulting, technical configuration, debugging, troubleshooting as well as pre-sales solution consulting.

The Solutions Consultant is a key technical resource to consult on design, setup, and configuration of the client’s ShipHawk account and system(s) integrations to meet their unique business requirements. The role acts as a consultant in all pre-sales and owns the customer / prospect demos. 

While onboarding services are almost always delivered remotely, certain customers may require on-site services from time to time.  A successful Solutions Consultant will conduct remote onboarding advice that meets or exceeds the customer’s business goals. Solutions Consultants will be cross trained to perform pre-sales solutions consulting to support and drive effective Sales Cycle. Software onboarding and sales can be complex, technical and require tactful problem solving, clear and strong  verbal and written communication. You will be joining a collaborative, fun, growing and close-knit team.

Responsibilities:

  • Consult and demo for new customers
  • Deliver high-quality demos and consultative meetings with prospects for WMS and TMS
  • Is a subject matter expert on ShipHawk’s products and services (WMS and TMS)
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer use cases are met
  • Effectively keep records in Salesforce/GuideCX 
  • Work with Product and AM Teams to advocate for potential customers needs and advocate for existing customers development requests
  • Provide pre-sales solution design and implementation project plan to stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years' experience in customer-facing software implementation or related experience in B2B SaaS
  • Relevant client management experience in account management, business analysis, consulting, professional services, sales engineering or other SaaS implementation related roles is a plus.
  • Must be an avid learner, tinkerer - not afraid to get your hands dirty. 
  • Experience conducting client needs analysis and configuring software to meet those needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to communicate well through technically challenging situations.
  • Strong analytical skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Technical understanding – not afraid to question and investigate so that challenges can be resolved quickly.
  • Motivated self-starter that works well both alone and with a team.
  • Experience working with NetSuite or Acumatica is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in Excel, APIs, ERPs, SQL, Looker, Salesforce, NetSuite
  • Experience interacting with APIs using tools like Postman.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar experience is a plus.
