Position Overview

Veracross is seeking a self-motivated, passionate, and highly collaborative Sales Engineer to join our successful sales team. You will report to the Director, Field Sales Operations and work closely with sales, marketing, and product teams on various projects. You will prepare for and perform technical demonstrations for prospects and customers for new logo and upsell Account Executives.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to Director, Field Sales Operations
  • Responsible for working closely with Account Executives to schedule and manage product demonstrations through a defined process in Salesforce.
  • Manage scheduled demonstrations in Salesforce by logging, tracking, and reporting.
  • Responsible for performing product demonstrations of Veracross solution to prospects, customers; champions and buyers within schools interested in Veracross Solution.
  • Assist in onboarding and training Account Executives on Veracross Solution.
  • Maintain and improve in-depth technical understanding of Veracross products.
  • Assist sales with sales pursuits for our customers and prospects.
  • Assist Account Executive through discovery and initial requirements gathering sessions with customers and prospects, translating key pain points into solution opportunities.
  • Answer a variety of functional and technical questions from customers funneled through the sales team and throughout the demonstration within the sales process.
  • Provide functional and technical responses to customer RFPs, RFIs and other direct requirements.
  • Contribute and participate presenting in webinar series.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA).
  • 4+ years’ experience in enterprise software sales role in SaaS EdTech company is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated strong presentation skills to key stakeholders within prospective customers.
  • Solid understanding and/or hands-on experience in software applications and web technologies, including business office and general ledger SaaS applications.
  • Can clearly demonstrate high empathy through a proven track record of being an attentive listener, thoroughly understanding customer’s needs, and quickly building rapport.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with a variety of audiences within the organization.
  • Salesforce experience required.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Flexible team-player who can partner with all functions of the business, getting team members buy in and feedback with ease.
  • Detail oriented and highly organized with the ability to work independently in a fast paced, high growth environment.

Physical Requirements:

Potential travel, approximately 10%
