Role Summary
The MSP SE will work with the global MSP sales team and will be responsible for all technical and product aspects related to onboarding and enablement of Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners and supporting ongoing MSP sales activity. This role will be based in the US but will require work with North American and Latin American Partners, with a global reach to other Spanish-speaking countries. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish. Portuguese is not required but would be an asset.
What You Will Do
- Function as a technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Sophos Managed Service Provider (MSP) program and the Sophos Partner Portal.
- Assist in training new MSP partners on best practices for onboarding customers and using the Sophos Partner Portal to manage products. This may include creating educational guides, videos, or presentations and may involve remote one-on-one sessions, webinars, or in-person meetings.
- Provide Sophos partner product demos and assist with any follow-up questions or discussions.
- Work with the MSP Sales team to drive additional revenue by supporting efforts that help partners sell more Sophos products and services. This may include hosting technical webinars, creating technical videos for the partner YouTube channel, and building content to host ‘one to many’ MSP technical workshops.
- Assist with questions and requests sent to the MSP SE mailbox by partners or MSP sales reps.
- Gather feedback from customers, partners, and internal teams to improve Sophos offerings and remove technical obstacles to sales.
- Provide feedback on trends affecting MSP partner decisions to help influence product design, acquisition decisions, and roadmap.
- Support MSP marketing activities, including acting as booth staff at trade shows.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of MSP-related training and technical collateral.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of competitive intelligence material as needed.
What You Will Bring
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Experience with modern security technology and services, including firewalls, host endpoint agents, and managed security services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with business and technical teams to answer questions and help influence decisions.

- Bash or PowerShell scripting experience.
- Understanding of API’s.
- Experience working with Managed Service Providers.
- Up-to-date knowledge of RMM and PSA tools.
- Experience with Sophos technology.
In the United States, the base salary for this role ranges from $60,200 to $100,800. In addition to the base salary, there's a component for target sales commissions alongside a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
