Sales Director - West Coast US

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage, hire, train and ramp a team of Account Executives across the West Coast; responsible for new bookings from prospecting into a target list of key, high potential prospects.
  • Drive data-driven development and enablement programs within your team.
  • Develop and manage Account Executives productivity metrics such as deal size, win rate, and forecast accuracy as well as how to lead a customer through a proactive sales cycle.
  • Coach Account Executives through building executive relationships within a target list of key, high potential prospect accounts through complex Enterprise deals and negotiations.
  • Shape the direction of the go-to market strategy and execution for your region.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Product and Customer Success to build targeted messaging and collateral, and mapping a customer journey for the specific business needs of your region.
  • Conduct weekly forecast meetings.
  • Support direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings, engaging other corporate resources as required.
  • Achieve annual bookings quota with monthly and quarterly targets.

Who You Are:

  • Passionate about coaching others with a successful track record as an individual contributor and can share relevant and complex closing experience with a growing team.
  • Experienced in managing a high performing Sales team for a B2B software company.
  • Track record in generating new business within a corporate, SaaS , B2B sales environment 
  • Minimum of 7 years sales experience, preferably with at least 3 in B2B compliance/regulatory, or other cloud/SaaS solutions for the financial services industry
  • Experience in solution / value based selling to extract maximum value
  • The ability to think target-oriented, highly motivated individual who wants to win whilst always doing the right thing for the customer and for ComplyAdvantage  
  • The desire to try new things to get the best results; thinks quickly and thrives in an entrepreneurial environment 
  • Experience in AML/Compliance/PEP-Sanctions/Transaction Monitoring sales is desirable but not essential 
  • Passion for execution of a standardised sales process, ideally leveraging a known methodology e.g. MEDDICC, Sandler, Challenger. 
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills and a consultative approach to close business
  • The desire to develop your skills and take on more responsibilities quickly – our ambitious expansion plans mean we’re looking for new leaders to help us grow

The base salary range for this role is $180,000 to $200,000 + commission (double OTE), equity, and US benefits. The actual pay may vary based on factors such as location, experience, and skills.
