Sales Director

Our client, a forward-thinking provider of innovative building services solutions, is seeking a Sales Director to drive their next phase of growth. This role will be based in their State of the art officies in Coulsdon.

This is a pivotal role for an ambitious, decisive individual with strong commercial acumen and the ability to collaborate at a senior level.

About the Role:
As Sales Director, you will play a key role in transforming the sales model to capitalise on the company’s past successes and achieve new heights. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that secure high-value contracts for major construction projects while building a robust sales pipeline and leading marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft and implement a strategic sales plan to secure contracts for large-scale construction projects.
  • Drive growth through direct sales of own-brand M&E products into major construction projects.
  • Build and manage a high-performance sales team while fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Oversee marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and market demands.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the construction sector.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Deliver against ambitious revenue targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.
  • Manage and develop sales pipeline processes to ensure project specification success.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role, ideally within the M&E sector or similar.
  • Expertise in project-based sales, with a strong track record of delivering revenue growth.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic marketing and sales plans.
  • Established industry connections and experience selling into large construction projects.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • A hands-on, proactive approach to driving results and exceeding targets.
  • Proven ability to navigate complex sales cycles and manage stakeholder relationships.
