Who You Are:
- The Sales Director will be responsible for driving revenue growth from new customers in addition to existing clients and partners.
- The Director will be required to develop strategic sales plans and look at ways we can leverage data and new technologies to bring our visual content solutions to a wider audience.
- This role requires a dynamic self-starter with a consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and ideally an understanding of the sport and entertainment industry, brand marketing, and brand partnerships.
Your Next Challenge:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
- Build a target list of leads and leverage the subject matter experts within the business to drive long-term strategic partnerships, leading to long-term revenue opportunities in new areas.
- Identify new market opportunities and establish strong relationships with key clients.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective sales campaigns.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform business strategies.
- Implement business strategy across the target segment, whether cross-selling, upselling, discount management, successfully raising pricing, or bringing new, fee-based products or features to market.
- Deliver detailed selling plans at least twice yearly, outlining specific targets, contact strategy, KPIs for success, and points of adjustment.
- Consistently deliver required business reports accurately and on time.
- Meet required monthly Salesforce CRM KPIs.
- Upload a forecast (Outlook) that is +/-10% of what is delivered in the month.
What You'll Need:
- Self-starting, proactive, self-motivated, works effectively with minimal direction.
- Brings curiosity and a growth mindset to interactions with customers and colleagues.
- At least 10 years of sales representative experience.
- Can quickly acquire or has developed an industry understanding around visual content, including the opportunities around AI.
- Empathetic, with well-developed active listening as well as questioning skills.
- Demonstrates a growth mindset through commitment to continuous professional development; seeks regular coaching and feedback on customer interactions (in person or recorded).
- Driven to succeed and competitive: circumvents barriers, consistently aiming to exceed 100%.
- Leads by example and “pays it forward” by embodying sales professional best practices and mentoring other sales employees.
