The Opportunity

Come join XR’s newly formed entertainment and gaming enterprise team to deliver end-to-end ROI for our customers at scale. 

The Director of Sales – Entertainment & Gaming, will be a key member of our revenue and growth team, engaging with global entertainment studios, gaming publishers, and agencies within these verticals to demonstrate XR’s solutions for streamlining and optimizing their entire creative distribution and workflows. As a Director of Sales, you will be responsible for growing and expanding our customer base, elevating client utilization of our platform, as well as retention and growth of those accounts. Cultivating new business relationships is critical to ensure the growth of this newly formed team and XR.  

 Reporting Relationship 

This role reports to the VP, Enterprise Solutions: Entertainment and Gaming 

Responsibilities 

  • Take on a strategic and leadership role in understanding, anticipating, and solving customer challenges by nurturing existing client relationships and acting as the liaison between XR’s services and capabilities and client needs. 
  • Lead through innovation, build trust through transparency, and become a thought partner for our customers 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across XR to support and deliver results at scale for our customers by leveraging XR’s enterprise-level solutions. 
  • Establish and expand our relationship with agencies with strong footing within these verticals - will be a critical part of our success.   
  • Meet revenue targets while effectively managing the pipeline and accurate forecasting. 
  • Develop innovative pricing strategies that address our customer needs, including enterprise subscription models. 
  • Support the sales process as part of the larger XR sales organization. 
  • Leverage existing customer relationships to grow revenue  
  • Serve as a customer advocate internally and externally, ensuring alignment of resources to deliver to customer needs. 
  • Evangelize XR’s enterprise-scale platform with a specific focus on our digital video product. 
  • Build relationships with business leaders, functional leads, and internal stakeholders 
  • Consistently work to maintain a comprehensive understanding of data, TV, and digital video, with a strong understanding of the media landscape 
  • Maintain meticulous pipeline, forecast, and reporting within Salesforce

*Pursuant to Los Angeles' Pay Transparency Law the pay range for this position is $87,000 - 136,000 plus commission; base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree 
  • Experience with solutions, enterprise and consultancy sales in Ad Tech, production technologies, and or marketing operations within the entertainment and gaming industries.  
  • Experience with working and selling to customers that operate in a matrix-org model 
  • Experience within the AdTech industry fostering relationships with agencies of all sizes  
  • Demonstrable experience (8-10 years) within Ad-Tech, Production/Marketing Operations technologies in strategic sales or business development 
  • Enterprise software or Solution Sales experience is a plus 
  • Experience developing strategies on assigned accounts to fully leverage technology and grow the lifetime value of the account 
  • Experience building trusted relationships with client partners 
  • Expertise in communicating large scale changes, ability to manage change, and ability to gain buy-in across the organization
