As the Sales Director for our crowdfunding business line, you will lead the charge in expanding our investment portfolio by attracting and securing a diverse range of investors and investees. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to drive investment in our platform, managing high-level relationships with institutional investors, negotiating terms with investees, and leading a dynamic sales team. Your efforts will ensure the successful funding of innovative projects and the continued growth of our crowdfunding operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investee Relations & Negotiation:
- Attract and negotiate with potential investees, helping them bring their business plans to our crowdfunding platform.
- Guide investees through the crowdfunding process, ensuring their plans meet the standards required by institutional and retail investors.
Investor Acquisition & Management:
- Identify, attract, and onboard high-net-worth individuals and institutional investors.
- Develop and implement strategies to convince and secure investments from large investors in crowdfunding projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with key investors, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat investments.
Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, ensuring they meet their individual and team targets.
- Oversee telesales operations focused on converting leads generated by marketing into active retail and small-scale investors on the platform.
Strategic Partnerships:
- Develop and manage partnerships with banks, custodians, and other financial institutions to secure guarantees for investees and obtain their business plans.
- Collaborate with partners to ensure the financial stability and credibility of investment opportunities on the platform.
Market Strategy & Execution:
- Drive the development of strategies aimed at attracting retail, institutional, and big-ticket investors.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to refine the sales strategy.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully attracting and managing large-scale investors and negotiating investment deals.
- Experience in managing a sales team, with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute complex sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM and other sales tools.
